De Ware Jacob spotblad aan het begin van de 20e eeuw

De Ware Jacob, a satirical weekly from 1901 - 1910 was very popular in his time and famous for his accurate caricatures. Their aim was to put humour on a higher level. Politically they tried to be neutral.

The drawings were by Albert Hahn Sr, Leen Jordaan, Ton van Tast, Willy Sluiter, Jan Feith and Kees van Dongen.
