Onze  interesse in filmposters begon zo'n 20 jaar geleden met de aanschaf van een partij "Poolse" filmaffiches, waarvan u hier een selektie kunt zien. De staat waarin ze verkeerden was niet erg best. Ze waren opgehangen geweest en dat kon je nog goed zien aan resten van plakband en het ontbreken hier en daar van hoekjes, maar we waren verrast door de grafische kwaliteit en wilden ze graag hebben.
Sindsdien hebben we meer Oost-Europese filmaffiches verworven en daarnaast ook West-Europese. Ze passen goed bij ons motto
"Grafiek met een Verhaal".

Our interest in film posters started some 20 years ago when we got offered a lot of Eastern European film posters of which we show you a selection here. They were heavily used and had traces of cellotape etc. but we were surprised by their graphic quality and their difference to our western film posters. So we were very glad to have them. Since then we acquired more Eastern European film posters and also Western European (incl.the USA). They fit well in our policy:
"Graphical Art with a Story."
